Vertigo Games is currently seeking a creative and results-driven Sr. Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in building entertainment brands to work on some of the world’s most popular and highly anticipated VR games as part of our global publishing team.

In this role play a pivotal part in optimizing the market potential of the games assigned to you. You will be the champion and guardian of the titles you work on. Using your knowledge of players, target audiences, the market and competitors you will work closely with the studio/ dev team and marketing/ pr team  to optimize a titles features and USPs from the on-set and go-to-market potential all through the full lifecycle of a product.


  • Develop thorough understanding of players needs and target audiences, market and competitors to optimize development of game features, player journey, USPs and positioning throughout product lifecycle and optimize product-market fit, marketing potential on launch and post-launch monetization.
  • Partner with in-house publishing producers as well as internal and external development teams and user research teams to gather insights and inform clear action across product development and business decisions. Take ownership of the product from a marketing perspective and be a strong liaison between studio/ development and marketing/PR team through product lifecycle.
  • Create brand and marketing lifecycle strategy in cooperation with Sr Marketing Manager and Go-To-Market + post-launch growth plans (tactics & execution) in cooperation with Marketing/PR/Creative team.
  • Drive the realization of creative product brand assets with internal and external creative teams in line with brand & marketing plans
  • Work closely with games studios, publishing partners, and cross-functional teams ensuring brand tone, personality and positioning is consistent between in-game and out-of-game touchpoints
  • Act as spokesperson for the product at events in cooperation with PR team and studio devs. Evangelize product and brand to external partners (1st parties, licensors, and agencies)
  • Be the primary marketing contact and advocate with internal publishing groups and partners, identifying and assessing potential opportunities to expand product sales & lifecycle and set up (brand) partnerships within and outside the gaming space.
  • Work closely with the social media & community management team to gather player insights and understand/address feedback and performance, sharing your learnings across the production floor.


  • Masters in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in brand management and product marketing, ideally within the video game, related media, and/or creative agency space
  • A passion for video games & entertainment
  • Experience in working with analytics and creating data-driven consumer and market insights.
  • The ability to deliver convincing arguments grounded in analytics and research and share a creative vision
  • Experience in international multi-territory product or brand management
  • Experience in managing budgets and creating strategies
  • An understanding of the video game production process
  • Have the ability to create and communicate a strong vision and articulate this cross-functionally with all levels of management in a high-pressure environment, both internally and externally
  • Experience in setting up brand partnerships
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Advanced Office, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • A fluent level of English is required (written and verbal)


  • Experience in international multi-territory Sales Management
  • Experience in ‘GaaS’ and live-operated games
  • Technical knowledge of consoles, PC, VR, and further gaming equipment.
